Description

Smoky, slightly spicy shredded chicken simmered in chipotle-tomato sauce, stuffed in warm tortillas, topped with cooling cream, onions, and lime. Street-food magic at home.

Steps

  1. Boil or pressure cook chicken until cooked; shred with forks.
  2. In a pan sauté onion & garlic.
  3. Blend chipotle + tomatoes to a smooth sauce.
  4. Add sauce to pan with cumin & oregano; simmer.
  5. Stir in shredded chicken, cook until saucy and flavorful.
  6. Warm tortillas.
  7. Fill tacos → top with crema, onion, cilantro, and lime.
